I’m in a Bancho mood again and I needed to brush up on using my Wacom so here’s a Neon Bancho. I still need to sort some things out, my Wacom and PC have different colour styles and it tends to look better on the Wacom than on the actual computer and it kinda shits me.
this is totally and completely 100% random but you were in my dream last night and now I see you pop up on my dash that you followed me and wow I feel like god right now i can predict the future btw HI FRANK C:
whooooaaaa you’re psychic! How you doing? Is your number still the same? I’ve spoken to Jen about interviewing her at supanova for work (I now work at a pop culture media website) because of her cosplay and I would like to give you a little interview too if you would like?
This will be my first expo coverage for work, apart from the small Evangelion Exhibition where I interviewed Yuko Miyamura, and I’m ready to rock and roll.
I’ll be covering the Anime stuff with Luke and Kane. There’s going to be a bunch to cover be it panels, cosplayers or pop-culture stars.
I really want to do as much as possible and I also want to give recognition to not only the big stars there but everyone else who puts their heart and soul into cosplaying and the small booths that may not get as much attention.
That’s my plan and I’m hoping we can get to everything.
A character I’ve had in my head for a while. She’s like a super sexy scientist babe that kicks arse but I don’t have a name for her, I’ve just been calling her Dr. Pepper B. Pie after Aniki’s crazy breakfast habit: A doctor pepper and what he calls a breakfast pie. Listen to the last Podcast and you’ll get it. I’ll find a name for her eventually.
The team at Capsule Computers, yes that includes me, is excited for E3 2013 and we’re gearing up for the Sony E3 Conference. We’re doing a live commentary of the whole Sony Conference and you can listen in to it here:
I haven’t drawn in a bit so I thought I’d give it a go tonight before I hit up Monster Hunter. Inspiration for this? We call @LAHalliday (my boss) our Aniki-san and I thought “might as well draw that shit…”
It’s about an ex-cop who after working and being fired from heaps of jobs decided to join a super sentai force called the “Kaleido-Squad”, like Kaleidoscope, because he wants to impress his son while also being a working single father - he’s a single father - but because he’s an ex-cop he’s really excessive when taking down the bad guys yet not in the flamboyant Power Rangers way. So, even though he actually takes down the enemies, they kick him off the team because he’s not flashy enough and he actually kills the bad guys which is a big “No” in the Super Sentai Business. He then gets together with a bunch of his mates, all of which are weird mythological creatures, and makes his own team called the “Kill Fist Knuckle Squad” that competes against the “Kaleido-Squad”.
It will be an action, comedy, romance comic that will be fun for the whole family. It’ll be rated R 18.
